Transportation from Charleston to Hilton Head

Driving Directions
Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport - SAV
From Savannah/Hilton Head Intl Airport turn onto Interstate 95 N. Take Exit 8 in SC to Hwy 278 East. Follow 278E (approximately 18 miles to the bridge) to Hilton Head. Stay right on 278 Business for another 8 miles to Palmetto Dunes. Turn left at Queens Folly Rd. (the Palmetto Dunes traffic light). The Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa is one mile into Palmetto Dunes; turn left before the guard gate.
Hilton Head Municipal Airport - HHH
From the Hilton Head Airport, turn left onto Beach City Road. At the traffic light, turn left onto HWY 278E. Follow 278E to Queens Folly Rd. at the Palmetto Dunes traffic light and turn left into Palmetto Dunes. The Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa is located one mile into Palmetto Dunes, turn left before the guard gate.
Charleston International Airport
Take I-526 W toward Savannah. Turn right on Savannah HWY/US-17 S and continue to follow. Turn slight left onto Amy Hunter Conn. Stay straight to go onto Trask PKWY/US-21 S. Turn right onto SC-280/Parris Island GTWY. Turn slight right onto SC-170 S/Robert Smalls PKWY and continue to follow. Merge onto US-278 E/ Fording Island Rd toward Bluffton/Hilton Head Island. Merge onto William Hilton PKWY/US-278 BR-E. Turn left at Queens Folly Rd. (the Palmetto Dunes traffic light). The Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa is one mile into Palmetto Dunes; turn left before the guard gate.
Self Parking at the Hotel will be free for all USASBE members and valet parking is $18 per day.
