Coleman Foundation Scholarships for Small Schools and Non-business Faculty

USASBE 2010 is pleased to announce a special program to support small schools as well as faculty interested in entrepreneurship from outside of business schools.  Thanks to the generous support of the Coleman Foundation, we will offer a limited number of $500 scholarships for the 2010 USASBE Conference in Nashville to educators from Small Schools and Non-Business faculty at other schools.  Small schools are defined as sole campuses with less than 5,000 students.

Scholarship requirements:

  • Must qualify as a small school or as a non-business faculty member
  • Must attend the entire USASBE 2010 conference
  • Submit application – a brief paragraph on how you hope to benefit from USASBE 2010 and complete the Coleman Survey online
  • Turn in evaluation at end of conference with reflection paragraph
  • Book a room and stay at conference hotel during the conference.
  • Strongly encouraged to submit a developmental paper or a workshop proposal for following year’s conference, USASBE 2011

The scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for those who meet the requirements and are approved.  Scholarship recipients will only be responsible for the portion of conference registration and membership fees not covered by the scholarship – currently $25.  Scholarships will be applied directly to conference registration and membership fees after the applicant has been approved.

Applicants will be notified of the scholarship award by the Executive Director as soon as possible upon receipt of your application.
